Do I have to be the owner of the video or picture that I upload or embed?
No. You do not have to be the person who made the video. You only have to be certain that you are not uploading or embedding videos or pictures by people or from websites that strictly prohibit sharing. If a video is available on a site like You Tube or Flickr then you can safely assume that it's OK to use.

Do I have to register to be able to upload pictures and videos?
Yes. Registration is required if you want to upload a picture or a video and especially if you want to get paid for it. A valid Paypal account email address is required if you want to be paid for earning the most votes.
